For deck-level supervisory staff, the Aquatic Supervisor course provides the knowledge and skills, lifeguarding and instructing, to manage a safe aquatic environment. Candidates will be introduced the responsibilities required to act as an Aquatic Supervisor understanding that safety is the supervisor's key responsibility and function.
Prerequisites: National Lifeguard OR Swim Instructor OR Lifesaving Instructor certification; AND 100 hours of experience as a lifeguard and/or instructor.
Required Materials: Guide to Ontario Public Pools, 2018 Edition
100% attendance is required for successful completion of the course. Proof of prerequisities must be presented at the course.
