L.E.A.D & C.I.T.

Leadership Program for campers entering grades 8 – 10

Zodiac is proud to continue to offer its unique and dynamic leadership development program for older youth as a transition between being a camper and becoming a counsellor/specialist. Leadership campers will participate in a wide variety of workshops and training session under the guidance of the Leadership Coordinator. Topics will vary throughout the summer and a full summer program experience is recommended, but not required. These topics will span a variety of elements such as: stages of development, teaching techniques, behaviour guidance strategies, creative programming, preparing for a job interview, etc. Leadership campers will have the opportunity to apprentice in Zodiac cabins with the age group of their choice. There are great first steps on the path to camp employment! Campers who complete the Zodiac L.E.A.D. and C.I.T. programs before Grades 8 and 9 are eligible for employment after Grade 10, one year ahead of their peers.
