Standard first aid, CPR-C and AED
For those who want to receive training for the workplace or gain a better understanding of how to help during emergencies, Zodiac teaches the Lifesaving Society’s standard first aid and CPR-C course. This can be a good way to acquire basic skills and the ability to recognize breathing, choking, airway and cardiovascular incidents when they emerge.
The course spans two days and provides a three-year certification in standard first aid, CPR level C and AED operation. The course covers legal implications of first aid treatment, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, abdominal and chest injuries, burns and medical emergencies.
Basic first aid and caregiving skills for youth 11–15 years old. Participants learn how to provide care to younger children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. This Canadian Red Cross course also offers youth the training to promote themselves as a babysitter to prospective parents.
Zodiac strives to improve the lives of those in need by empowering individuals to act when emergencies occur.
By taking a first aid and CPR course with Zodiac, you can learn how to prevent, respond and recognize the signs of cardiac arrest and gain valuable knowledge about other medical incidents.
